Puppy Love

Yeah, yeah, we all know cats rule the internet. But we think it's time we give a little attention to the underdogs! (pun intended) For every Lil' Bub, Grumpy Cat and Maru there's a canine equivalent in Maddie, TrotterPup and Momo. In honor of (wo)man's best friend, we've created a collection of our favorite dog-inspired items, including Seychelles What Will They Say poodle loafers. What do you think, are you a cat or a dog person? Who are your favorite furry internet celebrities?

1. Dog Park dress at Modcloth
2. Seychelles "What Will They Say" poodle loafers
3. The French Dog coffee table book at Anthropologie
4. French Terrier necklace from VERAMEAT
5. Daschund Letter Holder from Anthropologie
6. Hand-Dyed Rope Collar from Free People (because your pup deserves the best, too!)
7. Buxom Stay-There Eyeshadow (each color is named after a different dog breed. So cute!)

femme du jour: Charlotte Gainsbourg

Lately our office playlist has consisted of Charlotte Gainsbourg's 2010 album IRM on repeat. It's the perfect thing to make the day breeze by. So as a thank you to Charlotte for keeping our ears happy, we're dedicating our next style icon post to her.

The daughter of French musical icon Serge Gainsbourg and beautiful english actress Jane Birkin, Charlotte obviously grew up in a creative and musical environment. Charlotte embodies the casual beauty and understated glamour we've come to expect from classic French beauties. She won us over on screen, starring alongside Gael Garcia Bernal in Michel Gondry's beautiful Science of Sleep, and playing Bob Dylan's jilted lover in I'm Not There. Lately, however, she's been wowing us with her musical prowess, working closely with Beck to record both her first album, 5:55 and last year's release, IRM.

Get Charlotte's carefree Parisian chic with faded skinny jeans, oversized boyfriend shirts, and ladylike loafers.

For the month of February, they "take you to the most romantic place in the world: France, with seven swooning, swirling and smoldering film classics." Featuring archival 35mm prints, rare screenings, and a tribute night to Brigitte Bardot, plus there are djs spinning records before and after all the films.
