Weekend fun at Canada's Little Burgundy

The girls in Canada sure know how to live. Little Burgundy offered up a free manicure with the purchase of any Seychelles sandals last Saturday. What a treat to leave with cute nails and shoes!

Thank You Note in bloom

Vania and Christine of Simply Bloom photography captured the essence of Seychelles with a shoot they did this year for newly weds, Joell and Eric of Las Vegas. As a vintage lover and collector, its no surprise that the bride chose Thank You Note to compliment her delicate gown.

Eye candy

Flipping through my current issue of Antler magazine, I was overjoyed to find their feature on found 1950s kodachromes. The images were discovered in the trash almost 10 years ago with little known history. Its sad realizing that the vibrance and lucid color quality of kodachromes may be lost forever as we move further into the digital age. Don't they look like they could've been taken yesterday?!

Our love and admiration for creative, passionate, talented women is no secret by now. This week, we happened upon the ultimate and are now experiencing a small obsession. With the release of her debut album, Karen Elson proves you really can have it all... surreal beauty, musical lilt and a family to boot!

À la mode: Seychelles look of the week

This week’s look goes to local photographer and musician Erin Audry. We completely fell in love with her dreamy self-portraits and artistic style. Mixing her ultra-girly lace dress and Swiss dot tights with leather combat boots gives this feminine look major edge. She tops off her ensemble with the perfect statement accessories. View Erin's style here. Shop "Meteor Shower" here.

Gilty as charged.

We love our friends, and it looks like we've found a wonderful new one in James of Bleubirdvintage. Not only is she already the epitome of a Seychelles girl, but she also gave us a little shout out yesterday, promoting our current sale on Gilt. Fall in love like we did here.

À la mode: Seychelles look of the week

Obsessed with everything vintage, we had to share Amanda’s romantic summer style. The rich floral prints compliment her whiskey woven belt beautifully, and the t-strap mid-heels complete her retro look. Outside, in this warm sunny style, there's no time to think of consequences. To see more of Amanda’s adorable vintage finds visit her etsy shop, The Upside of Wonder. Shop "Trip the Light Fantastic" here.

A moment for Dennis Hopper

Earlier this year I shared a link to a blog featuring smart, artsy boys. Paying tribute to one of the originals, we remember Dennis Hopper.

Things to wear on your head

Its no secret that the crew here at Seychelles holds a special place in their hearts for hair accessories. In fact, back in March I highlighted a selection of our favorites along with a Darling DIY.

Some of the latest and greatest pieces we fell in love with were recently found over at craftzine, yet again. Designer, William Chambers, mixes traditional with contemporary, which I just adore!
