This year was lit aflame with neon hues and fluorescent brights. While we're still big fans of the statement colors, there's a new trend approaching and it's not as loud. The Spring 2012 runway shows were painted with subtle, muted and elegant soft pastels and pale shadows. They reminded us of sorbets, Easter eggs, Jordanian almonds and weddings. Since we can't go cold turkey and ditch the neon just yet, we suggest mixing and matching some of your old pieces with your new pastel additions to the closet.
