Remembering Dylan's Muse

On February 25 Suze Rotolo, who dated Bob Dylan, strongly influenced his songwriting, and walked arm in arm with him on the iconic cover of 1963's The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan, passed away at the age of 67. Rotolo lived with Dylan in the early days and was the inspiration behind "Don't Think Twice It's Alright" among other brilliant tunes. She ultimately ended the relationship as Dylan's fame took over and she no longer felt she had a place in his world.

NPR remembers Dylan's muse with a 2008 interview with Terri Gross of Fresh Air.
