Monday Blues

I've definitely felt the Monday blues today, literally! It's been gloomy overcast skies for the last two days over in usually sunny LA. These gloomy skies have us yearning for some warm tea and curling up in bed. However we decided to be a little more productive and these are a few things inspired by the blue skies.

Get the Look: An Olympic Outfit

The 2012 London Olympics are here and they've been full of riveting athletic feats, dramatic successes and failures, and most importantly, hard bodies. The Olympics are not just about showcasing awesome new talent, blubbery outbursts of tears and sadness and the modern day Adonis we call Ryan Lochte.  Sure, we tune into the occasional women's gymnastics meet,  but it's our dedication to the U.S. men's swim team that could very well earn us our own medals. To keep us busy between commercials, we've put together an outfit post perfect for an Olympian. Choupette is the newest addition to Karl Lagerfeld's fashionable family, the longtime Creative Director of Chanel is not only in love with the sweet Siamese, he has made her into a fashion icon and expert. She's probably the cutest, and arguably most popular, Siamese kitten that has hit the haute couture fashion scene in ages. The little minx has an impressive Twitter following at 3,617, loves her iPad and has coined the slogan that "Chanel is my catnip". We are obsessed to say the least. The little protege has even inspired us to style a look that we think even Choupette would  consider wearing on the streets of Paris. x

Ode to Seafoam.

Our TRIP THE LIGHT FANTASTIC vintage inspired mid heels are back and to celebrate we styled a look!!

Seafoam is an easy and fun color to pair with. Another great thing about this style, is it's versatility. Throw on some tights or knee highs or wear it open like a sandal; it's a great choice to have in your closet.

We love the color blocking trend and are so happy it continues to stick around season after season!

By definition, it means solid colors paired together and we think this dress and our amazing new TOKYO mod-inspired block heels are perfect examples of it.
