British artist, Keira Rathbone has taken the typewriter, considered by most to be an obsolete medium of the past, to a new level in the world of Art. What began as a flea market find destined to be used for old school correspondence, turned into an artform and a career.
Armed solely with her keyboard, like paint to canvas, she types and creates her visions key stroke by key stroke. Her commissioned pieces can be found here along with most of her current works.
We think she personifies creativity and artistic vision. Stay tuned, at 28 years old she is just getting started.
